Privacy
This page explains what happens to your information when you join the ACU-01 waitlist, either on this website or through a form on Facebook or Instagram. The short version: we collect your email address so we can tell you when ACU-01 launches on Kickstarter, and we don't sell it.
Who we are
ACU-01 is made by GASIAN, a hardware team based in Seoul, Korea. You can reach us at gasian@gasian.co.kr.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you type it into the waitlist form on acunit.site or submit a waitlist form on Facebook or Instagram. On Facebook and Instagram forms, Meta may pre-fill the email from your account; you can change it before you submit, and we only receive what you submit.
- How you found us: which ad or link brought you (for example, campaign tags in the page address, or the ad name Meta attaches to a form submission).
- Basic usage data on this website: we use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads perform, for example whether a visit ended in a sign-up. It uses cookies and similar technology. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings and in your browser.
We don't ask for payment details. There is no payment now.
What we use it for
- To email you when the ACU-01 Kickstarter campaign launches, including the $59 launch-day price for people on the list.
- To count sign-ups and understand which ads work, so we spend less on the ones that don't.
We don't sell or rent your email address, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
Your email is stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets). Sign-ups made on Facebook or Instagram are also held by Meta until we download them. This website is hosted by Netlify. These providers process data for us under their own terms and security practices.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while the waitlist is active. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it.
Your choices
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to gasian@gasian.co.kr. We'll reply within 30 days.
Age
The waitlist is for adults. Please don't sign up if you are under 18.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
